Audrey’s Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies – 12-7-15
Audrey (who grew up working in her family’s bakery) is the grandmother of founder and head brewer, Chris Phelps. Chris grew up making these delicious cookies and precious memories with an amazing woman.
Combine (whisk or beat until smooth) in a large bowl:
– 2/3 cup brown sugar
– 2/3 cup granulated sugar
– 2 sticks of softened butter
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 2 eggs
In a second bowl, combine:
– 1 3/4 cup all purpose flour
– 1 tsp salt (to taste)
– 1 tsp baking soda
Mix contents of second bowl into the first bowl.
Add and stir the final ingredients into the cookie dough:
– 2 cups quick oats
– 1 cup milk chocolate chips
– 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
– 1 cup pecans
Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake at 350* for 10-13 minutes until golden brown.
